Red Hat went up by - $01.07 to $23.22 (4.83% increase)
I bet you are sorry that you are not holding GOOG but not even thinking anything about RHAT. Why?

although i am also learning, it wud be my pleasure to help u too learn about the stock market. i wud strongly recommend that u read "one up on wall street" by Peter Lynch. Thats a masterpiece. Also it will mould ur thinking. Investopedia.com, finance.yahoo.com etc are good resources... but i wud still recommend that u read that book as the first step in the right direction.
We have to remember that owning stocks is not to make a quick buck but to own a piece of a company and thereby grow our assests by consciously investing.
